Photographing Emma & Curt’s Temple Guiting Wedding was a double whammy for me. For those of you who don’t know, I also photograph gardens professionally (see my work here) so to be able to shoot this wedding in these incredible surroundings was a dream. The garden was designed by Jinny Blom who’s work is simply stunning. It comprises of many different areas, all in her ver specific style.
Anyway enough about gardens and on to talk about the wedding. I love, love, love intimate weddings so when Emma & Curt told me they were only having a few guests I was excited to attend because somehow smaller weddings are that extra bit special. The bride and groom invite only their nearest and dearest and they get much more time to spend with the people that they love. Emma got ready on site in the Peacock Shed which is a beautiful room tucked away at the end of the garden and it adjoins the ceremony area. Her hair and make-up were done by Anna White. Emma had just one bridesmaid – her sister and it was a lovely calm atmosphere at the getting ready phase. Emma’s gown was by Suzanne Neville with shoes by Filippa Scott. The bridesmaid gown was by Ghost. The beautiful flowers were by Flowers by Passion. Emma had a single red rose in her bouquet to remember her Grandad.
The couple decided on an outdoor ceremony set in the beautiful Peacock Shed.
The groom’s suit was by Jaeger. Soon it was time to walk up to the Peacock Shed before the ceremony.
The grounds are just amazing for photographs.
After the photographs Emma & Curt went inside the Manor for champagne and canapés with their guests. They enjoyed the time with their guests before moving into the dining room for dinner. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
