Laura & Sam’s amazing wedding took place on the family farm, surrounded by beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. They tried to involve all of their friends and family with every little aspect and the result was a beautiful, very personal wedding. I love their style! Laura is a creative through and through and runs her own amazing pop up shop – Golden Hare Gallery. Her mum is a pottery maker and made all the incredible favours for the guests, each decorated slightly differently. Anyway on with the details of this beautiful wedding.
I arrived to find everyone busy doing something, last minute touches to flowers, decorating the beautiful marquees, the atmosphere was buzzing. Laura was getting ready with the help of her six bridesmaids. Her beautiful dress was by This Modern Love complemented by some fabulous blue suede shoes by Hobbs. Her veil also by This Modern love was beautifully colourful and embroidered with flowers which mirrored her bouquet. The bridesmaids all wore different coloured dresses and had been made by Laura and her Mum. Guests started to arrive as they were all travelling to the church via amazing vintage buses by The Vintage Bunting Company.
I met up with the boys at Church. They all looked smart in tails by A Suit that Fits. The floral arch around the lychgate and church entrance were stunning and had been done by Anna Langmead. The weather was perfect and the mood was happy, the guests stopped for pictures as they arrived at church, keen to get the celebrations started. Laura arrived at church with her mum as her Dad was driving one of the buses and finally all the colours came together as Laura and her bridesmaids stopped for a quick picture before heading to the ceremony. Puddles was to play a very important role as the ring bearer!
After the ceremony guests piled onto the buses and headed back to the farm for the most incredible reception. The details, flowers and setup were a dream to photograph for me, everywhere I looked was picture perfect. Laura’s mum had made the beautiful cake and Valley Events did a fantastic job of the catering. On arrival at the farm we all jumped in a 4×4 and went off to do some photographs under the trees on the hill. The light was beautiful and it was a perfect opportunity for Laura & Sam to grab a few moments together before heading back to the party. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés under the shade of the trees and after a while it was time to sit down for dinner. After dinner came the hilarious speeches and then guests headed over to the barn to dance the night away. Thank you Laura & Sam for letting me be a part of your incredible day!
