Dominic & Gail’s Newington House wedding has to be one of my all time favourite weddings! From the venue, to the colour scheme and all the people involved, everything was perfect. Gail is an event planner herself so she really had a grip on how much work is involved in organising a wedding but not wanting to have too much stress organising everything, she employed the lovely Caroline of Perfect Peony wedding planning to take over.
Gail & Dom’s taste is exquisite, their rose gold colour scheme ran through the whole day, right down to the cutlery at dinner. Gail’s blush pink gown was by Watters and was offset by her amazing blue suede Jimmy Choo’s. Their stunning flowers were by Louise at Wild Thyme Flowers. Hair and make-up was by the talented Elizabeth Beckett. The men’s suits were by Ted Baker and shoes by Jones the Bootmaker. Their cake was by French Made.
Gail & Dom were married in the beautiful church next to Newington House. They had organised a male Welsh Voice choir as a nod to Gail’s Welsh roots. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they started singing. After their ceremony guests walked back to the house to enjoy signature cocktails by Bar de Cru in the cutest black Citroen H Van. Then speeches were done in the hallway of the house before guests had the grand reveal of the beautifully decorated Papakata tent. Just in time for the rain to start but everyone was cosy inside so it didn’t matter.
After dinner there was the most incredible sunset so we spent a bit more time doing some couple portraits in the most gorgeous light before the party started. Thank you Gail & Dom for choosing me to photograph your big day, I loved every minute
