Welcome to Emma & David’s beautiful wedding at the Great Barn at Aynho. Their day was filled with beautiful details and special moments starting with those glorious his and hers scents by Jo Malone which the couple left out for their guests to use before entering the ceremony. This couple were so lovely to work with, so gracious in every way. I arrived to find Emma and her bridesmaids getting ready at the barn. Her gorgeous gown was by Wed2Be which she wore with a pair of personalised bridal Converse. She also had a dress to change into for the evening which she teamed with a pair of Chanel pumps.
Hair and make up was by Beau’s Yard. Emma’s and Dave had chosen the most beautiful florals which were all by Willow Floristry. They chose simple greens mixed with some thistle’s (a nod to Dave’s Scottish heritage) and it matched perfectly with the barn decor. To complement, the bridesmaids wore dark green dresses by Mix Bridal. The boys wore blue tweed suits by House of Fraser.
Emma is an only child so it was really lovely to see her Mum and Dad so excited and her three special friends who she had chosen to help her get ready. The ceremony was short and sweet and Emma suffered an attack of the giggles during the vows which really broke the ice. Afterwards guests enjoyed canapés and champagne and because the rain didn’t stop we opted to do some portraits inside and then under the porch.
The barn looked absolutely stunning when set up for the wedding breakfast. The hall is simply amazing especially with the decor they had chosen which is why it’s one of my favourite venues to photograph. After dinner it stopped raining for long enough for us to get a few pictures outside before dessert was served. The couple chose to have to most amazing dessert table with not one but 5 different cakes!
Then it was on to the evening entertainment before Emma and David did their first dance and then everyone else let loose on the dance floor. Thank you Emma & David for letting me capture your big day, it was an absolute pleasure.
So tell me what you think? Are you having a Great Barn at Aynho wedding? I’d love to hear from you so get in touch.
