“Thanks so much for sending these through. We absolutely love them. We’re over the moon in fact!” Victoria & James
I met up with Victoria & James one evening a couple of weeks ago in the glorious weather (yes that was Summer!) and we visited the Watercress beds in Ewelme to photograph their pre-wedding shoot. It was a sea of lush green and with the sunlight filtering through the trees it made for a beautiful location. Victoria & James were excited to get shooting and after our first few precarious steps on the narrow wall we made our way down into the beds. It was quite a challenge positioning them in a way where I could see them both without them falling into the water but that made it all the more fun.
I was a bit cruel and made my way over on to the safety of the bank while I left them to wobble in the hope that it would make them hold on to each other more tightly, which seemed to work a treat! They are such a fun couple to work with and Victoria didn’t even mind getting her feet wet at one point, although James was abandoned in the middle of the beds with no way to escape other than attempting a vault to the bridge or walking round (thankfully he chose the latter).
The light was just stunning and brownie points to them both for their styling as the colours they had chosen to wear complemented the green backdrop beautifully. I’m really excited to photograph their wedding next month and can’t wait to see the finishing touches they put on the venue, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing!
