caswell house wedding

“Oooh Alex thank you so much for the photographs, we absolutely love them. You were just wonderful on the day and on the run up and we cannot thank you enough”

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the beautiful Caswell House. It’s such a beautiful venue and the grounds are stunning and the staff just can’t do enough for you. I knew Hannah & Simon’s wedding was going to be a goody just from meeting them for their pre-wedding shoot because it was filled with emotion, just like their wedding day.

Hannah and her bridesmaids got ready in the beautiful dressing room which is custom built for brides to get ready in. With it’s neutral decor and light airy feel, it’s the perfect place in which to submerge for the wedding preparations. Hair and make-up was by the lovely Sarah Yeo who put everyone at ease while she busily worked her magic. You might have noticed that Hannah had a blossoming bump (so exciting!!) which fit beautifully into her Willoughby gown.

The boys suits were by Reiss and shoes by Barker. The stunning flowers were by Flower Style Co and the stationery and table plan were by On Cloud Nine. As guests arrived, everybody was smiling and the mood was of excitement and happiness. Hannah & Simon got married in the barn and one of my favourite photographs of the day was when they locked eyes for the first time. There was laughter and tears through the ceremony before we moved into the private gardens for photographs.

The weather was amazing and guests soaked up the sun in the courtyard and played lawn games whilst enjoying champagne and canapes. Then it was inside for speeches before dinner, which had everyone laughing and there were also a few poignant moments from Simon. It was a wonderful day, thank you to Hannah & Simon for letting me capture their special day.
