Sarah & Seth were married at the beautiful Ambrosden Church in October last year. Their stunning day really embraced the time of year incorporating painted pumpkins, dahlia and Autumn leaves into their details. I went to meet up with Sarah in the morning while she was busy having hair and make-up done with her lovely bridesmaids. Hair was by the talented Katy Dunn and make-up by the equally talented Jodie Tychowski.
Sarah’s simple Pronovias dress was completely stunning and the tiny row of buttons at the back gave it a real sense of understated sensuality and showed off Sarah’s gorgeous figure perfectly. Her lilac LK Bennett shoes added a touch of sparkle. Can I just mention at the point, the flowers which were just incredible. Sarah had an amazing oversize bouquet incorporating some beautiful berries and dahlia as well as a beautiful hairpiece. The bridesmaids had gorgeous flower crowns which complimented their lilac dresses by Chi Chi London.
During the morning Sarah’s Grandad arrived at the house as he was giving her away and there wasn’t a dry eye – me included. Anyone who has lost grandparents can really relate to what a precious moment this was and I wanted to document as much of this as possible.
Once the girls were hair and make-up ready they sat and chatted excitedly until it was time to get dressed. Sarah’s Mum was busy practising her reading and trying to hold back the tears. When families are really emotive it just draws me in to them even more.
Once Sarah was dressed I left to go and meet the boys at Church. All the guests arrived on a vintage red bus along with the boys. Seth I might add was somewhat nervous at this point, understandably but had his best man and ushers to help him along. The church service was really beautiful and Sarah’s mum did cry through her reading which was just all the more endearing.
After the service all the guests got back onto the bus and made their way to the Tally Ho. Sarah & Seth had clearly worked very hard with their details. I loved their pumpkin centrepieces. And Sarah’s talented mum had made their cake which was just amazing! The three of us spent a little bit of time in the grounds taking photographs which I always think is a nice breather for the bride and groom. Sarah & Seth were really relaxed and it was very enjoyable to spend this bit of time photographing them and making them laugh.
After the speeches guests enjoyed the wedding breakfast before relaxing, chatting and fun in the Photo Booth. Later in the evening Sarah & Seth provided sparklers for their bridal party so we had some fun with those before they did their first dance and then danced the night away with their friends and family. Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding, I loved it.
