HELLO! I’m Alexandra and I’m a documentary wedding photographer based near Oxford. I’m also within a short distance of the beautiful Cotswolds countryside. I specialise in professional wedding photography throughout Oxfordshire, the Home Counties and the Cotswolds. I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade.

Weddings are about people and the interaction between them whether that be tears, laughter or pure joy. I specialise in telling the story of your day through photographs. This means being as unobtrusive as possible and blending in with your guests. You won’t find me hiding in a bush with a telephoto lens though so don’t worry.

Essentially I shoot for an album because of the way the photographs work together but you don’t have to have an album. Most clients these days want to have digital images so I offer this as standard. If you want to upgrade to a beautiful Queensberry album, the option is there.

At the centre of the wedding day is you as a couple and in order for you to feel really comfortable with me on the day I like to meet you at least twice before the wedding. We’ll chat through the order of your day and I can offer you my experience if there is anything you are unsure about in the running order. I also like to capture some beautiful portraits of the two of you where I encourage as much natural interaction as possible so you don’t need to worry about what to do with your hands and where to look.

I photograph weddings all year round, not just the summer months and tend to book up 6-12 months in advance so please use the contact form or call (01844) 318 122 if you have a date booked.

I am proud to be a recommended supplier for The Tythe Barn, Taunton and The Bodleian Library, Oxford.

“Alex put us at our ease and took time to find out about us and our requirements. We were thoroughly confident that she would take beautiful photos which she did. She was happy to explain why she recommended certain choices and to humor our whims. Throughout the day she was a lovely and cheerful presence and very patient with us and our guests. Many guests commented on her friendly and unobtrusive manner.”
